This postcard was originally enclosed in an envelope which is now lost to history. The text on the back of the postcard states:
"Dear Frank Mar 4 (1901)
This came in an envelope this a.m. Tore offcorner opening it.
This is our Fla. Home taken by Fred Van Camp when here. On the south side of Lake Charm fronting north.
It is regarded the finest site on the lake.
House 40 x 20 Parlor on right 20 x 20 Hall 9 x 20 Dining Room 14 x 14 Kitchen back 15 x 18 Wood House 8 x 12 260 trees in the Lot. House in front-center of Lot. Or. (Orange) trees in row on each side Tall tree on right - Magnolia. Large grove across public road South here.""
